On April 19, 2024, I delivered a matriculation lecture at Trinity University, Lagos, titled “Empowered Living: Unlocking Your Potentials,” addressing the incoming students on self-awareness, self-development, and resilience as pillars for success. Drawing from my personal journey, i emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, goal setting, and a growth mindset. Reflecting on experiences like launching ALAT, Nigeria’s first fully digital bank, I illustrated how innovation, collaboration, and perseverance can transform challenges into opportunities. I encouraged students to embrace their academic journey with focus, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, reminding them that their potential is limitless when guided by purpose and faith.
