In September 2024, I had the privilege of addressing MBA students at Judges Business School, University of Cambridge, sharing insights from my journey of leadership and innovation. My career has been guided by principles such as chasing excellence, seeking mentors, taking calculated risks, relentless innovation, and maintaining balance through faith and family. A defining achievement was launching ALAT, Africa’s first fully digital bank, which revolutionized banking in Nigeria through customer-centric solutions and bold execution. As I emphasized to the students, leadership demands vision, resilience, and adaptability, with success stemming from continuous learning, purposeful action, and daring to innovate.
